took senokot ... now feel so sick

i had been constipated for a few days, so i took two senokot last night, nothing happened, then again this morning (as directions said) and now feel so nauseous. I did have a BM since then ... but feel my stomach is nauseous and like puking. I have not actually thrown up though. Is that a normal side effect?

I have been a bit nauseous for a few days but thought that was due to being constipated.

I think it's just your tummy doesn't the tablet. I usually use the liquid version of senokot.

is that gentler?

Well I found so anyways. Plus you have more control over the dosage too. I find with the tablets sometimes they can work too well :)

I would advise to try more gently laxatives like Lactulose and Movicol - senna doesnt like me and i dont like it.
