Neck ultrasound for stiff neck & swollen lymph node

Hi all.

I’ve had a stiff neck when I turn to the left for about six months but since I’ve had my second baby 14 months ago I’m trying not to run to the doctor for every ache and pain. But recently a swollen lymph node had popped up on the muscle that is stiff so I went to the doctor. He’s sending me for an ultrasound now to make sure there isn’t any “tumors” causing the stiffness. Now I’m all wound up because I’ve let this neck thing go do so long now I’m thinking this is really bad.

Any advice or reassurance? I’m doing my blood work today and ultrasound tomorrow.
