I can't get Diazepam for the dentist
Just got back from the doctor's after being told they no longer prescribe Diazepam for phobias. I was given some 3 years ago to get me through a root canal treatment and I've now got to have the same tooth taken out! I can't go through with it without something! My dentist doesn't prescribe anything apart from antibiotics!!

Someone else just posted in this forum to say they can't get it either.
You could try some herbal alternatives but you will get through it without because you have to.

I definitely do have to as I don’t have a choice Which herbal alternatives are there?

Is sedation via the dentist a possibility? Not all seem to offer it.
Re: I can't get Diazepam for the dentist
Rescue Remedy is one you can try.
Re: I can't get Diazepam for the dentist
My dentist doesn't offer sedation. I've been to the chemist and bought rescue remedy spray that you put on your tongue so will see how that goes.

Good news! :yesyes: How did it go?
Re: I can't get Diazepam for the dentist
It was easy peasy! I was in and out within 20 mins. It's the discomfort I've had since the anaesthetic wore off. Nearly a week ago now and healing well. Thanks for asking.

That's excellent! Big proof there then that you can take control and tell anxiety to do one :winks:
