OCD with throwing away things again

I have been bad for this lately. I do the toilet and fear some gets on my clothes through a dribble or if I feel I'm not right clean even if I probably am. I'm throwing out under wear and not wearing it in fear a slight movement got some on it. Also stopped wearing jeans as when I was out walking the dog I stepped in mug and some splashed on it.

With my work I only have one pair of trousers I wear so I get it alot and have to wear them and forget about it but with other things. Like jeans I had to hold the toilet in until I got home, so I went and I feared i some how done it in my boxers even when they were clean..this sort of thing is troubling me and it's costing me money buying lots of new under wear and clothes.

Anybody else had this and how can I get over it? :shrug:

Im sorry to hear that. It doesnt affect me in that way, although I have chucked things that concerned me so far as objects, rather than clothes. The only way to get over it is the next time you have the concern, dont throw it out and carry on wearing it. It will be hard but each time you do that it will get a little bit easier.
