Feels like racig heart, but heart rate not high

I get all the regular palps that are like weird hard thumps and sort of live with them! I know I suffer from health anxiety and think I am going through the perimenopause. I have always put them down to the peri and anxiety.

However, today I have had a constant feeling that my heart is beating fast. My chest feels sort of fluttery and I get the feeling of almost light headiness, but not quite. (Like the feeling you get in your head when you start to panic). However, my heart rate is normal. So I feel like I have a rapid heart rate but I don't.

Should I be worried, becuase I am ??!!

The more you worry about your heart, the more irregular your pulse will become.

There are a lot of muscles and nerves running that can produce a fluttering feeling in your chest, it's not just the heart.
