Writing Groups

Hi all, is anyone in any writing groups, and did it help with your writing skills
and creativity?

I was in one back in university about 6 years ago, if that counts?

I am Studying Non Fiction Writing. I had been enjoying until I lost the motivation and also realized that there other English skills I should probably brush up on, first.:shrug:
