Overthinking things? No more anxiety but now finding things? Help
I dnt have panic attacks any more or bad anxity like i used to but im finding myself overthinking things. Overthinking life, situations, just anything and everything really lol.
Im scared because these horrid thoughts come crashing back the second i stop doing something. When im distracted it stops but the second i stop it comes rushing back and these thoughts are awful. Its only the past few weeks ive been getting them but theyre scary snd worry me a lot. I worry that i have got rid of one problem but now face another like depression or something else.
Like i said, its worse when im not distracted or about to go to sleep
What can i do to stop this because it frightens me :(

Hi, I share your pain, and as I have been banging on about in various threads, I am having CBT to help deal with health anxiety, stress and negative thoughts. The negative thinking is by far the worst part of anxiety for me but it is just another symptom of the illness. When we are okay, these thoughts might strike randomly and simply bounce off, but when we're low or distressed they hit ten times harder.
Normally they start to go away or have less impact as we start feeling better.
