I have never had this before but i just wondered if anyone on here has or knows what the cause might be. my jaw seems to be crackling especially when i eat and i have never had it before. any ideas what this could be?

Hi Louise, jaw cracking when chewing is very common, unless it's causing you pain it's fine. Mine cracks l the time but I do have pain to but I do have jaw tension and clench my teeth.
I have the same thing - it often runs in families, my mum and sister have it too. Sometimes it clicks when I yawn too.
