changing dose 20mg to 40mg
Hi all, long time since I've been on here and need help for my son. His dosage was changed from 20mg to 40mg nearly a month a go now. He is having real problems with fatigue, depression, flu like symptoms. Can anyone reassure me at all? I have read that it may take 6 weeks to feel better? He is having times - a few hours at a time - when he feels a bit better. should he persist is what I am asking? Thanks for your help

PS he has depression not anxiety as such

Hello Teresa,
depression might take longer for the medication to work. I would give it 6 weeks and if he doesn't feel any better to go back to the DR and maybe look to change medication. Also it will also benefit him to go and talk to someone as it lets out everything. Also it might take time for his body to get used to the double dosage. Here hoping he feels better soon. :)
