Best time to take medications

Hi,
I'm currently in 50mg of sertraline which I take before bed. What time off day do you take any medication and why? Does it even matter at all?
I'm stuggling to fall asleep and I've researched that it can affect sleep patterns.
Also vitamin tablets.
Sorry for questions, I want feel my normal self again.
