What Medication Works For Emetophobia???

Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all!

I have been an Emetophobe for all my life (I'm 40 now).

I've been reading through the posts and have found myself feeling so relieved that I'm not some sort of freak any more and that there's lots of us about - not that it makes it any easier to deal with.

Do any of you take regular medication for your phobia such as anti sickness tablets or antacids etc.? I think if there was a particular medicine you could take daily that you knew would definitely make it unable for you to vomit then that is half the battle. I would be fine if I knew there was some cast iron guarantee that I would never vomit because that IS, after all, what the phobia is all about isn't it.

If you were to take an anti sickness tablet and say you caught the dreaded "winter vomiting bug" etc., would the tablet stop you from being sick and maybe just let you have the runs instead? If the whole process is to get something nasty out of your system then as long as it passes through you then that should be ok.
