Upped dose fluoxetine? Anxious

Hi visited my GP today cos I've been extra anxious for a while now. She upped my dosage of fluoxetine from 20mg to 40 mg..thing is I'm a bit anxious about taking that amount..is anyone else on this dosage? And is it normal have this much? Also meant to ask but forgot can your hair thin due to taking this medication?

The therapeutic dose range is 20-80mg/day with most taking 40-60mg.

Hair loss is a known rare side-effect, but anxiety and depression can cause it too. If hair loss began after you began taking fluoxetine you should discuss this with your doctor.
