Bloated stomach, really IBS?

Does anyone else get a bloated stomach, not just the colon but actually the stomach between the rib cage etc?

Im worried there might be something wrong there, trying not to Google.

Are you still drinking too much water as well?

I've managed to cut the water back to a few litres a day now, also trying to stay away from trigger foods and things which contain gas.

yes i have ibs and i too am starting to get a bit worried because i am that bloated that im starting to think it cud b something more serious :/

I've got exactly the same thing at the moment, I've convinced myself it's something else and I don't have long left. I'm also burping a lot, is that IBS related do you think?

I really hope I've got IBS. I never thought I'd say that, but it's infinitely better than what I think I've got.

Have your bowel movements changed?

I burp alot aswell but i am also on tablets for reflux symptoms that i have. I have chest pains, heart palpitations, burping, heartburn etc and i am on omeprazole which usually keeps the symptoms at bay

They've been quite yellow recently! which has gotten me worried.

The main thing that's got me worried is that my stomach, to the left hand side under my ribs, seems to be sticking out a long way, as feels very firm :-( and im a lot smaller on the opposite side :-(
