Ibs constant lower ache, help from ibs sufferers needed
Ok so in April I went to the doctor with a constant lower left sided pelvic ache, it was in the area from my left groin up to my tummy button, around my back and down my leg. I had a internal examination, sti swabs and transvaginal and normal tummy ultrasound. All results were normal. The doctor ruled that it was ibs before I had this done and gave me spasmonal which did not help. The pain has been ok since April only comin for a few hours a month however this month since ovalation it has been back the same. No let up just a constant dull ache, ibuprofen don't work nothing does. It is not better after urinating or passing stools even tho it almost feels as if it would be.
I don't really know much about ibs or it's location but do you think this constant ache I have had for 6 days so far could be ibs, I do worry it could be the big C??????,,
Re: Ibs constant lower ache, help from ibs sufferers needed
Hi there.
I've had exactly the same symptoms come on this week. I'm male so don't have the ovulation issues but I'm in real discomfort. Feels like my lower intestines are full of gas and need emptying. Occasional spikey pain in lower left abdo, ache goes round to my lower back and sometime up to the bottom of my ribs. Get to feel a bit nauseous occasionally but the fear of the big C is the thing that I find hardest to deal with.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

I've been having left side dull pains for about 2 months now. They come and go. I also had normal abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound, I am now being sent for a CT. My doctor thinks it's spasmodic colon but I too am.scared it's the big C.
I probably didn't answer your question but I know how you feel
