If you don't ask...
Okay, this is just a tiny one, but I'm still proud.
A bunch of beads showed up for sale on one of my FB groups overnight, including some I really wanted. Obviously, because of timezones, a lot of them were already claimed by US people.
I worked out what I wanted and posted a request, but just as I did so somebody swooped down and claimed the last strand of a bead I particularly wanted.
She mentioned having claimed three of this variety already, so shy, socially anxious me nerved myself and asked her very politely if I could have it instead.
...Cue a very tense few hours where I was convinced I'd committed a shocking breach of etiquette and was going to get kicked out of the group, obviously, despite all members being generally lovely.
Nobody got mad. Nobody kicked me out. The lady who claimed the last strand of beads was happy to let me have it. All is well, and maybe next time it won't be so hard to be brave.

I *really* wanted them ;) Still slightly shocked that I did it, though.

Excellent! Now do us all a favour and go sort this Brexit thing out :yesyes: Have you got a plan of what you will be making with them?

Re: If you don't ask...
Thanks, all! They're very tiny beads so I'll be using them as fringing and decoration for seed bead projects, so no, no clear idea yet.
One thing I do have on my to-make list is an old-school retro sci-fi flying saucer, though.
