For the last 18 months or so I have had intermittent issues with some foods. If I eat dry bread, chicken or heavy meats they will occasionally get stuck. This feeling only passes when I drink a carbonated drink or cough to the point that I am nearly sick and it moves the food up slightly before digesting it.
I went to the doctors about a year ago and he suggested esophagitis and prescribed me with Omazeprole for 3 months. This cleared the issue until it returned about 3/4 months ago.
I am 34 and terrified that this could be Esophageal cancer, I have had heart burn for a number of years.
Given that I have had this intermittently for the best part of two years and it is only with certain solids is it unlikely that it would be cancer?
