Upping Cipralex From 10mg To 20mg!!

I was told last week to up my dose of cipralex from 10mg to 20mg, i have been feeling bad for the last 10 days or so anyway, what side effects would i expect on upping the dose i didnt really have any when i first started on the pills!
I am still have problems with my breathing, for the last 10 days i have been feeling constantly all day everyday that i am choking and suffocating and feel like im not breathing at all and gasping all the time, i have tried relaxation and breathing techniques but no change!
I would have thought any side effects from upping the dose would have disappeared or be clearing up alittle by now!

it sounds like me that it is the existing anxiety.

i have been on paroxetine for 8 wks so far i have not seen a grat improvement, i think part of the recovery lies in accepting the anxoety so you loose a fear or the symptons.

Andrew I am on those meds and it took me ages to adjust to them. How about going from 10 ten 15 then 10 then 15 until you are ready to take the 20 mg

I've been on the cipralex for 8 months at 10mg i only got told to up it last week to 20mg been on 20mg for about 7 days so when should my temporary side effects start disappearing??

Even though you have been on Cipralex for a while, it is normal that you will still experience side-effects when upping your dosage. They shouldn't last more than a few weeks though so I'm sure you'll feel better soon..:D
