ongoing headaches following stopping venlafaxine

Hi,

After coming off Venlafaxine in January and having withdrawal for a few weeks and a bad cold and chest infections (prob due to being run down).. I have now been left with daily headaches-pretty constant and then become more severe on occasions on right side around eye and temple and back of head. Some loss of vision esp when doing exercise or standing quickly...

Have an MRI next week but wondering if anyone has heard of this following withdrawal from Ven????

It maybe PAWS - This is very common for people who have stopped an SSRI or SNRI. PAWS can last from 2 months to 2 years.

Doctors time and time again fail to mention PAWS.

how long was you on the drug for?

did you stop cold turkey?
