More abdominal pain

My upper left abdomen hurts, its sort of a dull, but at the same time sharp pain, if that makes sense, 4 or 5 inches straight left of my navel. It has been there off an on for about two months, maybe a bit longer. Many times, it is not there at all, but sometimes, in the evening esepecially, or after a meal, it seems to act up.

I am finally going to go get it checked, but suddenly, tonight, I became really worried that something is seriously wrong. I have not lost weight, so the cancer fear is not huge, but it does loom. I have poor posture at work, and lower back issues, so I have attributed it to that until just the past couple of days...now I am all at once freaking out. Maybe it is my wife, she finally freaked a bit and urged me to go to the doc, which now has my mind reeling a bit.

Sorry, just needed to vent. Again. =)
