Worried about stomach symptoms!

I came down with a bout of diarrhea Friday night and then for the next two days had an upset stomach. I figured it would be short lived but on the third day developed a super agitated stomach and a mild fever. I don’t know why but my anxiety has been playing up over developing a fever several days in. I’m worried it’s more than just a stomach bug and my fever coming back this evening is doing nothing to squelch my nerves.

Why would this happen? Should I be concerned about it being something more than a stomach virus? I haven’t thrown up at all. Just upset stomach and loose stools along with an on and off mild fever.
