Meningitis B vaccine

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I had a question about a vaccination. I am in college, and as such, I have to get my immunizations before I can live on campus. Well, I started last year, and I was strongly encouraged to get the Meningitis B vaccine. So, I did get the vaccine, but only the first one. I honestly completely forgot about getting the second vaccine - or the booster shot so to speak.

So my question is, is it pointless for me to get the second one, or should I just call my doctors office and say "hey, I forgot to get the second vaccine of the two that I was supposed to get, can I still get it?" Would I still be protected, or would I have to get two more, as if I didn't even receive the first one?

Probably two more. You'd have to restart the series in order to get full protection.
