Mental Health Foundation: minfulness course + lots of useful info
Hi everyone, I don't know how many of you are aware of this site/organisation, but I only just became aware of their website so I thought I would put this on here. www.mentalhealth.org.uk I found it really uplifting to see all the amazing fundraising and research work they do, and the whole tone of the website is very positive and takes the approach that mental health is everyones concern and stress can affect anyone. It also keeps up to date with news on therapy, medications etc: There is a link to their online mindfulness course called www.bemindfulonline.com and I read in the news section that scientists have agreed that Passionflower is effective in helping anxiety symptoms.
Hope you find this useful x

I haven't checked it out but have been reading a lot of Brian L Wiess books. Psychiatrist that treats people with phobias and anxiety and depression by regression hypnosis. He has quite a few meditation techniques that seems to help me and also says that the mind can heal the body of ailments and other things.mental and physical.. Anyway thought I would mention it.I am long time sufferer with anxiety and the meditation seems to really help my body overall. Michael

Good call Expecto, they are a repsected charity and a very good source for factual information, I used to read it alot when I was at me worst.
It would be interesting to know if anyone here has done the course. It's £40 so compared to other "non-charity" courses I could mention ;), it's very well priced.
