Interesting indeed. I've always theorized there's a link between the mind and the gut.
It has been understood now for some time that the gut and the brain can really be thought of as part of the same organ in the body. The influence they have on each other is undeniable.
Yes the gut brain connection has been well known for quite a long time, and is fairly common knowledge.
This study is interesting because it specifically looks at gut microbes that caused fear.
