Lorazepam question

Hi.

I have been taking 0.5mg twice/day of lorazepam until cipralex kicks in(10mg, week 3). I was wondering how bad would it be if i took it for like 1 or 2 more weeks, so that cipralex works better. Tried to reduce the lorazepam to just in the evening, but total fail as anxiety got high.

I think you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Explain to them why you want to do it. There could be a reason why they have put you on that

All benzos are addictive, so speak to your doc about this because you don't want to suffer when coming off it further down the line.

Ofc i will. Was just looking for a general opinion from people who used it.
