Who here has use probiotics while on a antibiotic

Who here has use probiotics while on a antibiotic? Did if help with the side affects at all?

My mother (elderly) went into hospital a couple of years ago with pneumonia. She was on strong IV and oral antibiotics, reducing to oral only after a few days. These are much stronger than what you are taking but I want to give this as an example of how good probiotics can be. She spent those earlier days living in & out of the toilet and luckily had a private room. This then turned to constipation.

A few days eating a standard yoghurt a couple of times a day and she was much better and almost back to normal.

Yes and I take a probiotic every day, a must for gut health :)

If you're asking if it works to restore gut health after a carpet bombing of antibiotics, then yes. Take at least two months full course of a good quality probiotic. And eat lots of vegetables to feed the probiotics.
