Heart skips for extended periods of time
Hey guys,
I haven't posted on this forum in years, and I'm sad I have to again :(
But for the year that's in it, my anxiety is a bit worse again since September.
Currently I have it on important calls I need to be on. If I need to talk on a call with big executives, or even just talk to my manager about an uncomfortable situation, my heart starts skipping like crazy.
I'll feel a constant flutter in my chest, actually sometimes making it hard for me to catch my breath. And this can go on for a solid half hour until the call ends. Today I wasn't even able to start the call, I had to just message my manager and even as I was typing it was happening and no matter what I did, it didn't stop it. I also took 1mg of Xanax an hour before the call and my limbs felt like noodles, but it still happened.
What's the longest you've ever gone with continuous heart skips and are they really harmless even if they last long? I totally know they're down to anxiety. But even Xanax doesn't prevent them from happening.
Thanks!

Really? so if it happens continually for an hour and say 60 of them, that won't matter? I actually don't feel bad when they happen. It's just annoying AF

Alright, thanks. From now on I’ll just try to ignore them. It just makes it hard for me to talk. But I’m hoping the more I ignore them the less they will happen
