Scared of Vulvar Cancer

Hi everyone. So I've been having intense itching in one pinpoint area of my labia majora and what feels like a moveable lump in the skin for about 6 months now. Cortisone cream doesn't help, so I had a gynecologist appointment a few days ago. She didn't feel or see anything, so she recommended I try a lidocaine cream to help with the itching. I can feel the skin get numb from the cream, but the itching is still there. I'm 28 years old and have no risk factors, but I'm still terrified because Google sucks and tells me it's absolutely cancer if it's just itching lol. I don't use products or soaps so it's frustrating because I can't find any cause for it. I wasn't sure if anyone else has had similar issues or knows a way to help ease my fears? Thanks!
