Have an ingrown hair. Scared it might be staph

Hello everyone,

Last night I noticed an ingrown hair on my lower abdomen that kinda hurts and is red. I am scared it might be staph because I go to the gym but I am very OCD about cleanliness. I dont use the showers nor change in the locker room. I wipe down each machine before and after use. I have hand sanitizer.

I had something like this last year and my dermo said it was just localized folliculitis.

I have an appointment with my derm on Wednesday morning but my anxiety will be crazy until then.

I will keep an eye on the spot but so far there's no puss nor is it spreading around.
