Help, want off escitalopram.
I was on escitalopram 10 mg daily for about 7 years.
I tapered from 10 mg daily over a 9 month period and came off of it altogether when I got down to 1 mg which was just before Christmas 2016.
I have relapsed with ocd and my GP put me back on escitalopram this week. I have taken 10 mg a day for 2 days only, I haven't taken any today. Will I be o.k. just stopping it after the 2 doses, considering I last came off it just before Christmas.
Please help me. I suffered a major nervous breakdown 7 weeks ago and am barely functioning. I am on the waiting list for CBT and have decided I would like to try to get well without meds.

You shouldn't have any physical withdrawal symptoms.

How long is the waiting list? Imho, it would not be a good idea to remain untreated for weeks, let alone months.
