That's a pity because most of these unusual side-effects at the beginning don't last long, from an hour or two to a couple of days and they rarely indicate anything significant. Nor are they always down to the med. The mind will sometimes create them too.

I've had tinnitus in the past but nothing lasting. Usually after heavy metal concerts 😖

Which suggests you may be more susceptible to it being triggered by meds. I suggest you discuss this with your GP if you haven't already.
