Feel like doing the same now
Re: Christmas and new year survival support group
Sorry to hear you need a break, Quinn :hugs::flowers:
You do what's right for you. You know where we are if you want us.
I think using these places to have a laugh and a chat is a positive use and that's what I've seen with you. So, I hope it hasn't negatively affected you.
All the best.
Re: Christmas and new year survival support group
I will miss you, Quinn. Your advice was always spot on and if people didn't like it, tough. You are a survivor and must do what is best for you and you alone.xxxxx

Re: Christmas and new year survival support group
Thanks Darksky, I have to go to a friend's house later for a get together she's putting on but I just want to hide at home alone.
Hope everyone is managing to keep going x
Re: Christmas and new year survival support group
How did you get on at your friends house, Franfhm? Hope it was better than you expected. In any case its all over and done with now.
Re: Christmas and new year survival support group
It took a while for me to settle but once I did it was ok. Yesterday was a good day but I seem to be paying for that today, the traffic out there is all crazy, I've had to go to the supermarket for food as my fridge is bare and it's destroyed me in to a heap since I got home. I've had to get through work too and I'm back in tomorrow morning.
I still have a click and collect gift to pick up from town and it's the most important. The shop is open til 9 tonight - I'm not sure whether to attempt it once I've had a cup of tea and tried to calm down or whether to chance it and leave it til tomorrow.
We are almost there - this time tomorrow it's one day closer to being all over.
Re: Christmas and new year survival support group
We don't always feel like we've achieved much when we think we should be able to do 'normal' things easily. But you have done brilliantly Fran, and as you say, we are a step closer to all this being over.
I've done well so far but anxiety has pounced today. Though I'm thinking part of that is having a muffled feeling in my right ear, so I got some olive oil from the chemist.
