Getting an MRI/MRCP tomorrow and nervous
Hey all,
So tomorrow I am getting an MRI/MRCP done, and I am nervous. I have a permanent retainer (a metal wire on the back of my teeth) and I am worried that that will affect something. My biggest fear is that it will be ripped out of my mouth as soon as they turn the MRI on. The technician says that they've dealt with permanent retainers before, so that gives me some comfort, but I am still terrified. Ugh.
I know it will probably be just fine, but I am scared. Anyways, I'll be back with an update tomorrow.

You'll be fine.

Update: indeed, as Nora predicted, I was fine.
By far the worst bit was the IV (which wasn't even that bad).
No teeth came flying out of my head, so we're all good.

Try and remember this next time you panic over something and all was ok
