I was on sertraline for years, but after a while, it sort of gave out and I had to try something different. Perhaps, your med provider could discuss a med change if you're finding the sertraline is causing too much mania. Maybe a taper with a new med could help you some.
When you say you struggle without Sertraline ... what happens (symptoms) and how many milligrams are you on; currently?
