Re: #s and links for UK members
Is there an emergency telephone number (out of hours) for mental health? I had a query about my meds recently but the out of hours doctors were unable to help. Anybody??
Re: #s and links for UK members
I found this number online....
NHS Direct 0845 4647
It says "Whenever you need health advice and information"

Re: #s and links for UK members
I'm not sure if it is the same number for the out of hours doctors. I had a problem with my medication and apart from saying if your symptoms worsen then contact us they were of no help at all!! The Maudesley hospital used to have an emergency out of hours psychiatric drug line ie for queries relating to psychiatric drugs. Sadly this does not exist anymore.
Re: #s and links for UK members
There are some really good links on the Maudesley Hospital site. I might use them in the future.
Re: #s and links for UK members
Sorry!!
Too many numbers for me to try to bring from one site to this one!
LOL
Our local numbers only have 7.
hehe
