Anyone ever had a finger move by itself, stronger than a twitch?
Hi All,
The other week I had my finger - index finger actually shaking back and forth, I wasn't doing it at all, it was just moving back and forth - it wasn't a normal muscle twitch, it was actually moving the whole finger!
Has anyone had this??
You know where my brain took me, trying to tell myself I"m going ludicrous but who else has experienced this?
THank you!

All the time, yep - I just held my hand out and my finger is doing it right now.
No need to worry!

Yes, I've had that happen, I was in the midst of high anxiety and a nervous breakdown.

I either have the most steady hands or I’ll have a finger with a mind of its own, just like you said, moving on it’s own. I also have a little toe that likes to do it too!

Me too. And I have amazingly steady hands.
For me it normally occurs after a stressful event.

Yes I have, it normally happens if I've held something for a long time. It always goes.

Yes. Also, I have some kind of crazy chronic muscle spasm in the muscle along the inside of my left foot that makes my big to move back and forth probably like 20 times a day for the past few months. Our bodies are weird.

Yep, had it for months it has calmed down now. Had multiple EMGs due to my hypochondria. All fine.

Get in my thumb when i lean on the elbow, like when reading a book or playing the switch. Had an emg on the thumb for a different reason and was completely normal.
