How long does your anxiety last

For years I have struggled with HA. I seem to have way more general anxiety all the time than an average person but my anxiety frequently spikes into a mini panic attack. Sometimes these spikes happen several times a day and then go away other times they last for days. I am not currently on medication but I am considering it so as to reduce these spikes. I would appreciate it if you all could let me know about your anxiety and whether or not drugs have helped.

my anxiety manifests itself as #checking ocd# for which i take cipramiil and propanolo, the former does bugger all, the propanolol i use at night as i makes me feel v sleepy!!
