Sick Note What Do I Do With It
Forgive my stupid question have never had one before
My doctor has given me a Sick Note Called a Statement of Fitness for Work
I don't work at the moment, But my wife does and we get tax credits as having to kids.
So my question is what do I do with it.
It is for Severe anxiety and panic attack and also recurrent costochondritis/Chest pain (this is a quote from the note) it is for 6 weeks to start off for.
So what do i do, do i use it to try claim DLA or ESA or something else
Re: Sick Note What Do I Do With It
If you are off work then you need to get a copy to your employer to receive Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)
If not working, you can use it to claim for some sort of allowence (can't remember which one).
I would look at the government web site (just google it) and it should tell you what you are entitled to.
Hope that helped.
