Now fearing rabies
So my mind has now gone on to the possibility of rabies.
Someone I am seeing was working outside the UK over the summer and there was a case of rabies where he was working. He agreed after this that he wouldn't touch the dogs out there as its too high risk.
He got back a couple of months ago and obviously we have been "close". Even though he hasn't been ill since being out there or being back, I'm worried that he might of still been carrying the virus and that it has somehow spread to me instead.

This is nothing personal - it just enables us to keep posts about the same problems in the relevant forums so other members with any experience with the issues can find them more easily.

Re: Now fearing rabies
Think rationally: what's the likelihood of this expressed as a ratio?
How many rabies cases have there been in the UK this decade?
It's about as likely as getting gored by a bull elephant.

Re: Now fearing rabies
How can it spread to you? He doesn't have rabies and nor do you.
He would be ill now if he did have it but he doesn't
