2 months on 20mg...wake up with a feeling of dread

Hi all,

I started on 5mg of Cipralex about 3 months ago, then went to 10mg fairly quickly and have been on 20mg for the past 2 months. I had started to feel benefits probably about a month ago, but now I wake up with a feeling of complete dread. Ive seen the CPN at my surgery and because I have alot going on at the minute (financial worry, my employers given me a written final warning due to my sick leave etc) he said as I have so much to deal with its likely the anti-d's cant do much more than they are doing.

Ive tried fluoxatine a few years ago and it stopped working and then venlafaxine, which gave me nasty side effects and Cipralex is now the 3rd ive tried. It was doing something for me, but now its like its stopped and I know Im on the max dose.

I dont really know what to do anymore as it seems because my problems are due to my long term ill health and the other things ive mentioned that noone can help me.
