Colposcopy after atypical glandular cells PAP result- Girls only.
Hi everyone! Has anyone been through a colposcopy?
4 weeks ago, I got a call that my pap test came back with atypical glandular cells-not otherwise specified.
The protocol is to book a colposcopy.
I am getting this done in 2 days.
The anxiety for the last 4 weeks have been unbearable as my understanding is that AGC are more tricky and risky. And waiting for results will also be unbearable.
Any thoughts or feedback with women who have had similar experience would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

Nobody responded, but I figure I will give an update for the ones after me that are looking for some support about colposcopies.
I got a cervical, endocervical and endomatrial biopsy done at the same time.
It was 5 seconds of constant pain, but after it was done. The whole process lasted a whole 2 minutes on the "operating table".
I did not really feel much cramping after.
IT was way way way easier than what I had worked up in my head. It usually is :-)
Anyway, good luck to any of you ladies going through it. You are stronger than you think you are:)

That's so lovely that you updated after having no replies!! Can I ask you what your results were? I'm assuming CGIN?
