Switching From Citalopram To Paroxetine - Scared

Hi. So I went to see a Psychiatrist and she recommended switching from Citalopram to Paroxetine because I’m still struggling with anxiety and lately OCD and intrusive thoughts.

I was realitively ok with switching and then I read that someone committed homicide while on Paroxetine?? And that’s completely freaked me out. :scared15: Especially since I’ve been dealing with intrusive thoughts. The Psychiatrist said that Paroxetine was good for OCD and intrusive thoughts though.

Can someone reassure me? I don’t want to get worse :weep:
