Efexor and diazepam

These drugs have been a godsend to me in my continuing struggle against social anxiety. Taking efexor made 90%of my anxiety dissapear within a few weeks, the only downside is the effect lessons after about 6 months which has led my doctor to prescribe other drugs as I have been taking itoff and on for about 5 years.
Diazepam is fantastic as well although I only tend to use this when I feel extremely anxious about a social event. This removes all symptoms of my anxiety. There are drawbacks however. Firstly, like all these type of drugs,repeated use builds up resistance and you find you need to take more and more to get the same effect. Also, there is the temptation to take it more often than u may need it (addictive), and if used regularly can mean you feel u need to take it on occaisions where you may not have needed it before.
