Heart worries, help appreciated
Hi all,
I would really appreciate anyone who could take time to reply. I suffer with HA, though it went away for many years. Unfortunately it has resurfaced and I am very concerned about possible heart issues. I do have some tachycardia problems, but lately I have had major arm pain, dizziness, nausea, reflux, shortness of breath, etc. I realize these also coincide with anxiety, but the symptoms are happening when I’m not anxious. I made the mistake of looking online, and of course all these are symptoms of an impending heart attack.
I guess I’m so exhausted from questioning the possibility of something bad happening, and also convincing myself I am being unrealistic.

Hi
This is just a courtesy reply to let you know that your post was moved from its original place to a sub-forum that is more relevant to your issue.
This is nothing personal - it just enables us to keep posts about the same problems in the relevant forums so other members with any experience with the issues can find them more easily.

You don't have to be anxious to get symptoms though
Re: Heart worries, help appreciated
Furthermore, reflux alone can cause significant pain all across your chest and down your arm, it can also cause nausea and definitely causes significant shortness of breath.

Yes, you're right. I've dealt with reflux for so many years and I just can't get it under control. It seems to be much worse lately as well... I can typically tell reflux arm pain and this is much different. My realistic mind says it must be a pinched nerve. I have a toddler, so I'm guessing it may be from carrying him.

I had very similar issues a few months ago. I found out that LOW acid can cause heartburn. Started eating fermented foods almost daily and the heartburn went away. I like kimchi, but there is also sauerkraut and other fermented vegetables. Worth a shot.
There is a test for stomach acid with betaine hci that you can find outlined online.
Best of luck.
