Different Manufacturers of Citalopram???

hi all

my local pharmacy didn't have the usual box of citalopram that I get and they gave me on by another manufacturer. The pharmacist was all blase about it saying it's the exact same thing, but is it?? Can some manufacturers make it differently?? I'm concerned I'll have mad side effects again, I bought them because I'd rather have some than none.

Anyone know? Anything?? Just to put my mind at rest,I'm going to have to start taking them in 2days time

Yes they do come from different phamarcy groups but Ive never had any trouble with the different brands so dont worry.

I have had citalopram made by 2 different manufacturers and despite the difference in tablet appearance, how they work is exactly the same and there is no difference in that respect.
Hope this is reassuring for you.
