Good news Wart
Lexapro is one of the gentler ones.
I was prescribed Aropax at first - 3 days and I was ready to have myself committed.
Luckily I changed Drs and she put me on the Lex.:yesyes:
Re: Re starting escitalopram
I'm on the 4th day of lexapro 15mg. I have a strong burning in the esophagus and part of the chest. This is normal?

I've found I have a bit of reflux now and then.
Probably the same thing with you.

I assume it is but I'd get it checked out just to be sure.
Re: Re starting escitalopram

Blazing = burning

Did you do endoscopy? is it necessary to do?
Re: Re starting escitalopram
Burning sounds like reflux.
No endoscopy just an antacid called Ranitidine.
Reflux is also a common thing with anxiety.
