Did anyone see Trump's covid press conference today (7-28-20)? What an idiot! He doesn't understand anything about this.

Lola has a chest infection.
She's expecting to be in there for about a week.

Poor Lola..Get well soon and thanks for telling us, Phill
Re: Covid-19 discussion thread
Does anyone know whether hospitals/clinics are a significant transmission vector of Covid? What I mean is, say I want to go to hospital for some non-urgent tests next week, should I postpone this visit as it may raise my risk of contracting Covid?

Hospitals have had a bit of time to get themselves in order, so while I would say it’s probably riskier than most places due to the likelihood of Covid patients being in the same hospital, you’d have to think by now they’ve developed good infection control habits in order to prevent transmission throughout the hospital.
Re: Covid-19 discussion thread
If it's any help my son has attended hospital outpatients and has been an inpatient during the worst of it ...and has been fine. None of us has got it either should he have been an asymptomatic carrier.

Yes, I think the vast majority of hospitals now know the drill and how to manage the situation far better compared to back in March and April, though still not perfect, of course.
