Re: pb's Health anxiety worries thread
Can confirm, when I have a bad panic attack I almost always vomit and absolutely always get the squits. I have a thread from last Christmas where I assumed I was having a bad panic attack and was quite surprised when it turned out to be gastroenteritis.
Re: pb's Health anxiety worries thread
Thank you for your replies, the sickness has gone. I really want to enjoy this evening x

I'm always ok in church. I'm not religious or anything - I just like sitting in old churches. I find it very peaceful.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.:)
Re: pb's Health anxiety worries thread
Have managed to reduce taking my pulse and the pins and needles in my hands have got a lot better.
Ive now got pain in my right hip and groin, I’ve had this a lot , but always panic its appendicitis’s. I think I have got some wear and tear in my hip.
Had a dentist appointment yesterday and have to have two sessions of deep cleaning as my gums are not good.
I just feel that I’m falling apart and my health is not good.
Spoke to my gp on Wednesday and she said that two of my ecgs showed st sagging , but the cardiologist felt it wasn’t a problem and may of been caused by poor contact of leads, but I don’t understand how could it happen twice. She also said that further heart tests were to reassure me .
Have a family meal this afternoon and I think this is stressing me .
The pains in my hip and groin are real and again this stresses me.
I think my anxiety has reduced slightly , but my HA is bad still.
I will have therapy , but the psychiatrist wants to reduce my anxiety before I start this.
I can’t see ever being healthy or ok in the future, I am trying and always try to take the comments here on board.

You're in the age bracket for that. I'm more wear and tear than not...

It doesn't take long for your gums to recover. Mine were in a state a few years ago (bleeding and plaque build up) but they're fine now.

If the cardiologist - (i.e. the heart specialist) isn't worried, neither should you be.

I have arthritis in my hip which affects the groin. Exercise has helped - it is very important to stay active - but pain relief helps when it's bad.

I settle for ok. Ok is doable. The good ship Healthy might have sailed, but there is still life to be had, and health anxiety is absolutely curable.

Thank you Nora
We went for a meal for my nieces Holy Communion yesterday and I felt fine, no panic .
I hope you have a good day.
