Was it the receptionist that told you this again?
Have you been called in to see the doctor? I'm assuming that this medical wannabee at your surgery has told you what these abnormal results are? :)

If it was serious the Dr would have rung you .All those things can be easily treated .Hope we arent going to have this again over the week end Eggy ? :lac: sue
My house phone hasn't been working lately so they wouldn't have been able to contact me anyway, I think C-RP will be the abnormal one in my opinion.
I'm going to ring them again tomorrow because i want answers, I have been saying for a while now that something is wrong and all my blood tests keep showing abnormalities, Every one i have had since August has had the same result, Now i have been tested for other things and that is abnormal too.
When i had the blood test on Tuesday i was fairly certain that the C-RP levels would be high, C-RP is a marker for diseases, Although i won't think about anything until i have spoken to them again tomorrow.
Good luck Eggy, you really need to get a proper explanation of what's going on :hugs:
Thanks and your right JaneC :)
I'm not criticizing my doctors BUT i am not getting explanations and not getting any opinions as to what they think is going on.
They have referred me to 2 specialists, A Chronic Fatigue Specialist & a Gastroentrologist but they don't actually seem to know what is going on.
My requests to see a Neurologist haven't been accepted.
I know why i have been referred to a Gastroentrologist as i had a letter yesterday saying it was because something in my blood tests has remained slightly abnormal.
I don't know what to think at the moment, Sometimes i think they aren't investigating things enough hence all these abnormal Blood Test results.
eggy i would imagine that your doc is getting confused as to who to send you to.
Blood test dont tell them what is wrong (most of the time anyway)they only give an indication that things are not quite right somewhere and then they go by the symptoms that you are having as to where to send you.
Maybe
Something is going on somewhere, I'm eager to know what is abnormal in these latest results given that they were looking at different things this time.
I still think i should be referred to a Neurologist as well, That way they can check for any Neurological problems as well as throat and stomach problems by sending me to a Gastroentrologist.
Swallowing problems can be caused by Neurological problems as well as other things to do with the throat and esophagus so i don't understand why i haven't been referred to a Neurologist but it's up to them not me.
