Stomach troubles and tight band round stomach

My anxiety has been alot higher than normal
The last 2 weeks
Does anyone have problems with their stomach churning feeling neausea and also acid coming up
I also get a tight band round my stomach and that makes me even panic more
Does this relate to anyone else in the same way I also suffer with IBS and have got an under active thyroid
I am on 10mg Citralopram and 100mg Thyroxine I have also got 2mg Diazapam but have never taken them
What does everyone else think of taking Diazapam and do they help.

Hi joan-I can't comment on the meds query but I also get a tight band feeling, nausea & acid when my anxiety is bad (has been the last 2 wks)- it's a common symptom of anxiety & really uncomfortable! And yes it makes me more anxious too. My therapist says breathing & relaxing helps, easier said than done I know!
