I have a burning sensation in the back of my mouth, in my throat, with sticky dry teeth and lips. I have been suffering from some anxiety and have been on 10 mg citlopram for 3 weeks but feel the same, took acid reflux tablets earlier in the year with no effect, am beginning to think it is acid again now. Anyone have these sort of symptoms?

I know anxiety can cause dry mouth and just about anything you can connjure up. I have a lot of oain and burning going on everywhere in mouth. It goes away once im relaxed. Does take a few days or so though. You might have burning mouth syndrome. Nothing bad just annoying. Or geographic tongue which is also harmless. Stress is a cause of both of thes.
